LOT of 20: Alpha Industries M-51 Military Field Coat, OD Green Medium for sale in Oakland, California

This is an M-51 field coat made by Alpha Industries Inc., an official contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense. These coats are in new condition and still have their tags. Having purchased several different M-51 type coats in the past, I can say without a doubt that the Alpha coats are the best in terms of appearance and quality. I also prefer the M-51 coats over the M-65 coats, as they have a sharper, more squared away appearance. The problem is, it's more difficult to find M-51 coats than M-65 coats, because the former is not in great abundance. Fortunately for you, I have a lot of 20 for sale. Here is some background on the M-1951 coat:
The M-1951 field coat is a US Army four pocket jacket that is no longer issued, made of 9-ounce wind resistant water repellent treated cotton sateen cloth in Olive Green Shade 107 (OG 107)
It was based on the M-1943 field jacket that was replaced by the similar M-1950 field jacket that had inside buttons for a button-in liner. The M-1951 was given snap fasteners and a zipper instead of buttons. Unlike the M-1965 field jacket that replaced it, the M-1951 had button cuffs, a pointed collar and had a separate hood that buttoned on to the collar. Many soldiers liked the M-1951 as it presented a sharper appearance than the M-1965 field jacket when starched. It was still issued in many units as part of the organizational issue.
