1960 Austin Healey BT7- California Car Chevy V8 swap many years ago. Spare front chassis section included in sale to fix the modified area including foot wells. Offering a 1960 BT7 which my father was holding onto. He owned it for nearly 30 years and never got around to building it. It has a long history in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been stored indoors. IT IS VERY SOLID THROUGHOUT! Im offering it with a bill of sale only as the VIN Plate is missing although the BODY/BATCH plate is present. From theBODY/BATCH plate, the VIN plate can be acquired from the British Motor Heritage Trust.There is no title for this car.

Ive tried to set a fair reserve. This BT7 is an excellent candidate for restoration. Note: I do have a spare correct engine (29D) and manual O/D sideshift transmission not included in this auction but available. Heres what I know about the car: Batch #3061BT7L Body #13012 Original Body Color: COLORADO RED Interior: BLACK 1960 BT7 modified to run a chevy v8. Spare front chassis section included to fix the modified area including foot wells. Frame recessed for oil pan. Chevy motor mounts. Foot wells lightly modified to fit motor. 60 spoke wire wheels, front disc brakes. Fenders rolled for bigger tires. No windscreen, hood, trunk lid. Orig. CA black plate. Good frame rails.
